The Macomb Group’s Valve Automation Division offers the world’s top brand names in automated valve products. One such brand is Flow-Tek, which manufactures ball valves for every fit and application — including 3-piece and flanged valves for high pressure and severe service applications. These advanced ball valves are low torque, highly durable, and available in unique designs that reduce downtime with their easy installation. Here are three reasons Flow-Tek ball valves are the right choice for your application.
Any size or style you need
Whatever the size you need — 1/4” all the way through to 30” — Flow-Tek has the ball valve for you. With our fully stocked inventory, you can get the most commonly requested Flow-Tek ball valve sizes, styles, and connections (e.g., end, pressure) through The Macomb Group’s eCommerce site. We offer 3-piece, flanged, one- and two-piece threaded, multi-port, V-Control, and fire-safe ball valves. Every valve is made from durable materials like stainless and carbon steel, with some valves offering features like locking handles and travel stops, as well as benefits like low torque and increased cycle life. For 30 years, Bray has designed and built high-quality valve automation products, like their Flow-Tek ball valves. Their industry reputation for creating durable, innovative products has led Bray to their current position as one of the world’s top ball valve manufacturers. Their valves are used all over the world, and in a variety of industries like oil and gas, mining, desalination, irrigation, water, and HVAC. All of Bray’s products are ISO-9001 and CE/PED certified, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. And since The Macomb Group has been a premier distributor of Bray and other top-brand valve automation products for the past 30 years, you can expect that same high level of quality in our customer service.
Available in fire-safe options
As a Flow-Tek distributor, we also offer their fire-safe ball valves, which meet the highest level of fire safety standards with an API 607 certification (4th edition). Flow-Tek fire-safe ball valves come equipped with graphite stem seals, which have been fire tested thoroughly. If a fire occurs, the heat will destroy the primary resilient seat of the valve, but a secondary metal seat is put in place to prevent stem leakage. This is accomplished by the secondary metal seat making contact with the ball, forming a secure seal that prevents external and stem leakage.
We house a large supply of valve automation products as well as other industrial and commercial products like pipe, tubing, and fittings at locations dispersed across the U.S. Our 18 branches are located strategically so that we can offer same- or next-day availability to most major markets across the nation.
