The Macomb Group’s sincere desire to provide the best service often leads to new partnerships, as illustrated by their work with automotive supplier Brose. When Brose started the planning process to open a new production facility in New Boston, Michigan, they hired a mechanical contractor who has a long-standing relationship with The Macomb Group. That, plus our extensive stock and product experts, led Brose to us when they decided to purchase a Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ system.
This unit provides additional pressure boosting for domestic and reverse osmosis (RO) water applications. At the new state-of-the-art Brose facility where it was installed, it is being used to supply a larger pressure demand for many different applications.
Brose’s parent company, Brose North America, has several facilities in the United States and has been in business since 1993. They are the leading manufacturers of mechatronic components for vehicle bodies and interiors. The Grundfos Hydro MPC installation is part of the company’s New Boston factory expansion.
Brose is investing $105 million in expanding its southeast Michigan operations over the next five years. The expansions will add 300 jobs at its Auburn Hills headquarters and its New Boston factory. For this phase, The Macomb Group supplied the fire suppression, Grundfos booster system, plumbing, and specialty HVAC piping. The Brose project demonstrates The Macomb Group’s ability to support all piping needs for a large-scale project along with product experts to support a successful installation.
The Macomb Group is well-versed in the features and installation requirements of the Grundfos Hydro MPC. The system has many benefits and can handle virtually every type of plumbing situation. Sturdy and compact, the system has multiple applications including pressure boosting, municipal water transfer, industrial processes, HVAC, irrigation, manufacturing, high-rise buildings, apartment buildings, offices, and schools. The fully integrated system is reliable, highly efficient, and user-friendly, making it a clear choice for anyone looking to upgrade their hydro boosting capabilities.
