The Macomb Group Premier 150 Ranking

The annual Supply House Times Premier 150 Rankings are in, and The Macomb Group has climbed to the No. 5 spot nationally among industrial PVF distributors in the 2026 Premier 150 Survey.

Conducted annually by Supply House Times and BNP Media Market Research, the Premier 150 Survey ranks the nation’s top plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, and PVF distributors based on reported sales from the previous fiscal year.

The Macomb Group’s continued rise in the rankings reflects sustained growth, strategic expansion, operational investment, and an unwavering commitment to serving customers across the industrial, mechanical, utility, energy, and mission-critical construction markets.

“This achievement is a direct reflection of our ability to continue attracting seasoned industry talent in the markets we serve while developing the next generation of industry professionals,” said Scott Henegar, Chief Operating Officer of The Macomb Group. “Earning a Top 5 national ranking is the culmination of more than 700 employees doing their part with enthusiasm and commitment every day. From our branch teams and warehouse personnel to our logistics professionals and support teams, this recognition reflects the dedication of people across the organization who are committed to serving our customers.”

Over the past several years, The Macomb Group has evolved through a combination of strategic growth initiatives and opportunistic expansion, guided by a people-first philosophy and a commitment to strengthening local market expertise. Today, the company operates 32 branch locations across 11 states, supported by an internal fleet of more than 200 trucks, extensive inventory, specialized fabrication capabilities, and dedicated divisions serving markets including data centers, utilities, fire protection, engineered products, plastics fusion, and industrial processing.

As the company has expanded, maintaining the customer service that has long defined The Macomb Group has remained a core focus. Continued investments in inventory, logistics infrastructure, technology, facilities, and operational improvements have enhanced responsiveness and material availability while supporting customers operating in fast-paced and mission-critical environments.

“As we’ve grown, our focus has remained on doing the little things right – having the right material, delivering it accurately, and delivering on time,” Henegar said. “We believe strongly in maintaining local inventories and supporting them with a robust private fleet and logistics network that keeps our branches connected and responsive, but our greatest investment continues to be our people. By putting talented individuals in the right roles, providing clear objectives, and empowering them with the resources and autonomy to succeed, we’ve built a culture of problem-solvers who understand what ‘Built to Say Yes’ means and how that mindset helps distinguish The Macomb Group in the markets we serve.”

The company’s continued investment in people, inventory, infrastructure, and operational excellence has enabled it to scale while remaining responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. By combining local expertise with the resources of a growing national organization, The Macomb Group continues to strengthen its position as one of North America’s leading industrial PVF distributors.

The rise to No. 5 nationally marks another significant milestone in The Macomb Group’s growth journey and reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to customer service, employee development, operational excellence, and supporting the industries that keep North America moving.
